Farmers Market: Traditional Tastes From Sunnyside Farm

June 25, 2009

How rare do you like your meat? Sunnyside Farm, on the north side of the Nith valley, specialises in rare and traditional breeds including Shetland and Castlemilk Moorit sheep, Gloucester old Spot and Berkshire Pigs and Aberdeen Angus cows.

They are also very particular about how their beasts are reared and how the meat is prepared and cured.

This weekend you will find Sunnyside at the monthly farmers market at Drumlanrig Castle.

Sunday 18 June. 11am to 3pm.
