Funny picture – unless you happen to be standing up to your knees in a muddy field. The Whitehouse Gallery in Kirkcudbright, is hosting its annual Country Pursuits exhibition from tomorrow, Saturday 17 October, until Saturday 21 November. There will be plenty of local art and craft on display including humorous works like our poor Highland cow here. If you are in the area tomorrow, and need cheering up, the exhibition opens its doors at 11am with a glass of something fizzy and local handmade chocolates.
